Shawn's parents went to visit Cibecue on Sunday and Shawn had presentations so I actually had to entertain the kids myself. Can you believe it? I thought I would brave the kids myself at the zoo. The night before I ran into a Shawn's graduate school friend (Paul), his wife (Erina), and mother-in-law (Ako). So, I asked the ladies if they would like to join us. They were a lifesaver! I don't know if I could have managed without their help. We really enjoyed being with them as well. The only difficult part is that Ako didn't speak any English. Ashlin wanted to talk her so badly. The boys didn't care that she didn't speak English she had them laughing continually. Despite the heat, we had a very nice trip to the zoo even if the kids drug me on a camel. Let me tell that showed how much I love the trio!
