Each year over Memorial Day weekend, we attend ABA. ABA is the Association for Behavioral Analysis for those of you who are thinking what is that, put simply it is a branch of psychology. This year we the conference was held in Pheonix Arizona. We look forward to this event each year. It's a great time to catch up on the latest research and more importantly catch up with the friends we have made over the years. Shawn stayed quite busy. He had 3 students attend. They had 3 poster presentations and 2 paper presentations. This year they also had a special reunion for Shawn's graduate chair, Edmund Fantino) from UCSD. Shawn's parents are always so helpful to watch the kids during this time. This year they had a timeshare. They were able to go and visit the people they served on their mission. This allowed us to show off the thundering trio. It was fun to let everyone see them. Most of them have only seen them when they were little babies. They were so good except for when Jax crashed into the corner of the table and cut his eye. There was blood everywhere someone asked Shawn what happened to him snidely as if Shawn had done it himself. He bounced right back him up and was playing within five minutes it takes alot to get him down.
