Jeron turned 5 on February 2nd. This seems surreal to us. We love this little guy so very much and he truly makes our life complete. He is so easy going and just enjoys life. He always has a smile and loves to make us laugh. Although around people from our office he loves to play shy. We are so grateful that Heavenly Father sent him to our family. It is an honor to be his parents! We love you, Jeron! Happy 5th Birthday!

100 days of School!

The tale end of January made 100 days that Jaxon & Ashlin had been in school. The kindergarteners have to wear 100 things/items of something to help celebrate the day. Jaxon being a huge fan of legos wanted to wear legos. So, we got him a lego ninjago shirt and he wore a bag of 100 legos around his neck! It was his best day ever....legos at school....what more could you want!
Florida Last Day
Warming our feet after playing in the ocean!
Dad teasing Ashlin!
Our beautiful morning greeting!
The last day of our vacation we woke up to a beautiful Pensacola Beach sunrise! We were able to get a room right on the beach for a great price. Definitely a great way to wake up. We went and played in the gulf for awhile (see Facebook for pictures). The water was cold but it was crystal clear beautiful. We loved Pensacola Beach and would love to go back for another visit (of course not during spring break). We detoured to make it to the Utah State game against LA Tech. It was a double header. We caught the second half of the girls game and then the boys game. We had a great time cheering on our Aggies to a great win. Ashlin even had a chance to meet one of the girls players which she loved. We got home very late (early Sunday morning) but it was worth it to see the game!
Can't believe my son fell asleep while watching the aggies!
Let's go Utah State!
Nana & Ashlin true blue aggie fans!
Florida Trip 5: Scenic Route to Pensacola Beach
The fun had to end at some point. We started our return trip home. Shawn and his Mom decided that we should take the scenic route to our destination point (i.e., Pensacola Beach). We had a beautiful drive along the coast. We stopped to enjoy the beautiful sunset. The sunset was so beautiful and my heart was full of gratitude for this beautiful earth that Heavenly Father has given us to enjoy!

Florida Trip Day 5: Orlando Science Museum
Florida Trip Day 4: Rest & Relaxation
Florida Trip Day 3: Magic Kingdom
Florida Trip Day 2: Islands of Adventure
We spend day 2 at the Universal Studios/Adventure Islands. It was another great day for the Charlton family. The kids were very excited for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The kids were decked out with their wands & their Gryffindor capes. They got many compliments which made them love them even more. We loved the butter beer and were a little disappointed we did not get more. Jaxon's favorite ride was the the flight of the hippogrith. The trio definitely loved the Dr. Suess rides.
Florida Trip Day 1: Daytona Beach
In Florida we went on a family trip to Kissimmee Florida. We had a fabulous time and made many treasured memories. I think this was our first real family vacation. Usually when we take time off it's to go see family or we tag on a little fun activity while going to a work conference. This vacation we got more of the traditional vacation experience yet we got family time as well all of Shawn's family was there as well.
The vacation brought a needed brake and time to rejuvenate ourselves. Our first full day in Florida we drove to Daytona Beach (literally onto the beach). The weather was beautiful and the water was a beautiful blue color. The kids were a little hesitant at first but by the end they were playing and stomping around in the water.
