Nursery Rhyme Parade

On Friday, Ashlin's school had a nursery rhyme parade for the Kindergarten classes. They each had to dress up like their favorite nursery rhyme and then tell their class about it. Ashlin chose Mary had a little lamb and it worked out perfectly because we still had her lamb costume from her first dance recital. See I knew being never throwing anything away would come in handy! She loved wiggling her tail for everyone. They let the families to come in and watch. I unfortunately was in class. Shawn and the boys went and had a very nice time. The boys love to be with Ashlin at her new school. It was nice as well because Jaxon loves loves school and sometimes finds that it's a real bummer he only goes two mornings a week. I think Jeron thinks it's a bummer too because he loves the extra attention.

I wish that Chandler's school last year had more parent/family interaction like this. I enjoy schools that involve the parents a lot. This was totally cute, Ashlin is really enjoying kindergarten isn't she?
