Funny Moments this week

Life is as busy as ever with the semester winding down.  The kids humor sure makes life so much better especially during the busy moments.  Hopefully, you will enjoy these as much as we did.

Jeron decided he wanted to try to sit on the toilet.  He is sitting there just hanging out on the toilet and looks down and says, "It doesn't work!"

Ashlin came home from school yesterday.  She had a note from her teacher informing us she did not rest quietly during naptime and she had to be asked several times to be quiet.  I let her know this behavior was not ok with me.  She looks up with her hand on her hip in such a classic teenage pose, "Well, it's ok with me."  Not sassy just matter of fact.  I asked her who she was talking with expecting it to be Elizabeth and she gave a boy's name from her class.  I was surprised and said, "You were talking to a boy during your quiet time."  She gave me the same reply just as matter of factly, "It's ok with me."  I was trying to hide my smile, I found it slightly amusing.  I asked her to leave the room where she wouldn't see my smile and she replied, "Noone throws me out."  Wow what do I have in store for me?  Just for the record I repeated the direction and she left very sweetly.  

Ashlin's school has a zoo field trip tomorrow.  The boys and Sawn are tagging along.  I will be unable to make since it's during class time.  Jaxon wanted to make sure I knew that the animals are in cages and he wouldn't be able to pet them.  All three are very excited for the zoo.  It will be a great for the kids to have fun with their Dad.  David, (Elizabeth's dad) is going as well.  So, Shawn will have a friend to share in the adventure!
