We have been working on toilet training this week. Up until yesterday no successes but he was finally asking me take him to the toilet as he was going which I felt was a good step. Yesterday, he went until 5:15 without going to the bathroom. I was a bit worried. It was time to sit him on the toilet and finally he went. We were very excited for his first time going to the bathroom on the toilet! Yeah, finally we are moving in the right direction. After this.....5 wet underwear in 1 hour. I thought to myself, bath time sounds great right now. I get all the kids stripped down. Jeron toddles away and usually he is quite eager to get in the tub. I follow him and ... now ... Jaxon is not the only one who has left his mark on the carpet.
A shower for myself sure sounds good after I get the kids cleaned up. I hurry up and take a "QUICK" shower. I come out and there is the kids sitting very sweetly together with a pile of hershey kiss wrappers in front of them. Ashlin was asking, "Jax, are you underwear dry?" he replied, "Yes" and then she promptly handed him a chocolate kiss. Jeron of course was covered in chocolate. So much for bath, right?

oh motherhood!!! I feel your pain .. Your kids are sooo cute though. Keep that chin up.
I just wanted to thank you so much for taking care of Baylee in nursery. I worry each Sunday, wondering if she will cry the whole time in there again and make it hard for who ever is in there. Then when you came out and said she had a messy diaper. I was just going to head down there and change her. I was so grateful that you just did it and that she did good for you. Thank you so much!!!!! Baylee is always around mommy and daddy so she has a hard time with other adults, but you were so sweet!!!! I am grateful for all the wonderful people at church that has been taking turns in there and for all her leaders. You all have slowly but surely made it more easier for her to actually want to stay in there. THANK YOU!!!!
At least she understands the concept of positive reinforcement, eh?
