Another end to a semester...

Another semester is coming to an end for Shawn and myself. I have to say I am quite thankful for this one to be ending. This has been a tough semester for me. It feels like I have been juggling so many things....that I didn't do anything well. My 8 am class was especially difficult because I never felt like I had a rapport with them. I didn't like being there and I felt like they didn't want to be there either..... I changed text books this semester in an attempt to save the students money and I feel like that made a huge difference. The text was absolutely lousy! As always, I did have a few students that were really fun to interact with and am truly thankful that I had the opportunity to be their teacher.

This picture does not do justice to our Christmas tree. It's so beautiful and as mentioned earlier filled with my families love.

Ashlin made this gingerbread house at school yesterday. She was so very excited. I think it turned out just great!

Here is our stocking holder and 2 of my favorite boys. We have been wondering for quite some time how to hang our stockings we just didn't have the right place and I went to a home decor show and saw it and immediately ordered one.
We had the opportunity to watch a friend's 2 little girls last Friday. The boys loved having them over. The girls were adorable and very easy to watch. They were just very content to play and play.
We pulled the mattresses out one night. The kids wanted to sleep in the living room with the Christmas tree. This is how we found the boys. We thought it was so cute. We had to take a picture!
