Really!?!

I have a student that failed my class fall semester. I noticed this student the first day of class when I called role and thought to myself, "REALLY!?!" There are 11 sections of general psychology and you had to choose mine again. What have I done to deserve this? Here it is almost midterm this particular individual has only turned in 2 of 6 assignment and has earned no points for in class activities. I have not seen them for weeks and had hoped they had dropped the course. Today was an exam day. Here the individual was finally attending class. I stared in disbelief at this student most of the class period. They made a wide variety of facial expressions during the exam as if they did not understand the question. Big surprise there! I am still saying to myself....Really, why my class again. I personally find myself quite entertaining but obviosly they did not. So, why sit through a second semester the same jokes, videos, and Etc. If you can answer this you are much smarter than me!
