We have had a busy week enjoying the working air conditioner. It is a good thing! It has been quite hot here in Arkansas. Hopefully, we are done with housing dilemmas for awhile. We still haven't finished hanging our pictures & such, but I did include a few pictures below where you can see the new paint. The carpet is great. It's so fun to vacuum and see the lines as well as feel like the carpet is clean.
Shawn and I spent the majority of the week reading the Twilight series. Normally, I am not a vampire person but I have to admit I found the books captivating to say the least. I felt that Stephenie Meyers did a fantastic job developing the characters. I found myself on the edge of my seat rooting for the vampire romance. Shawn enjoyed the as well. He still has 300 more pages of Eclipse. We are anxiously awaiting August 2nd for the Breaking Dawn.
Shawn of course has been in a fantastic mood since Tuesday night when the Celtics beat the Lakers by 39 points. I of course was happy because he was in such a good mood, he did the laundry this week. There was tons to do since we had the fans drying the walls over the weekend & Monday.
Ashlin is enjoying a new dance class where the girls are much more friendly. She has a new teacher as well. Ashlin's Sunbeam substitute stopped me last Sunday after church and told me she had to tell me the cutest story. She said during the lesson Ashlin contributed and said, "You shouldn't say Stupid, You shouldn't say Shut Up, and You shouldn't say Damnit!" I of course was speechless and slightly embarrassed. Well maybe more than slightly. I should have said, "Oh Shawn, I really wish he wouldn't teach her those words."
Jaxon is now taking a playful parenting class. Basically, it is beginning gymnastics with the parent's keeping the child on track. He loves it and has been showing his skills off at home.
Jeron is busy getting into mischief with his new found mobility. He is really enjoying walking all over the place and now being able to go outside with his siblings. He is still not saying very many words but he babbles meaningful and communicates with lots of gestures often leading us to the nearest treat. The boy loves to eat.

I have that same little sign in my kitchen, "Get kisses from the misses when you do the dishes!" That is too funny! Cute decor Veda!

The house looks adorable! I would love to see it - I love your new books. They're wiggly but oh so cute!
SM definitely writes well. She did a great job getting people inside her character's lives.
