This weekend the trio & I watched Soul Surfer......over and over and over! The movie is about a 13 year old girl (Bethany Hamilton) who was on her way to becoming a professional surfer when she was attacked by a shark. She lost her left arm but does not let it get her down and she is back up and surfing within 3 weeks. She has an amazing attitude and the movies shares a wonderful message of faith. The trio absolutely loved it! Bethany Hamilton is now Ashlin's Hero and Ashlin has decided she wants to to learn how to surf (she was born in San Diego). Ashlin admires Bethany's testimony of Christ and that she did not let her accident get her down. I have to admit I don't mind her looking up to someone like this young lady. The boys enjoyed it as well and Jaxon wants to marry her!
